Setup via print server

1. Download and install drivers suitable for the printer & operating system. More information about the driver types: https://www.canon.de/support/business/products/office-printers/imagerunner/advance-dx/imagerunner-advance-dx-c3930i.html
2. System settings > Printers & Scanners
3. Press +
   
4. Hold down Ctrl and click on the printer icon
   Now select "Customise Toolbar ..."
   
5. Drag the "Advanced" icon onto the toolbar and confirm with "Done"
   
6. Press "Advanced" and wait until a selection menu appears below it
   
   

   Type:	LPD/LPR Host or Printer
   Device:	Another Device
   URL:	lpd://aifb-print.aifb.kit.edu/share-name
   Name:	can be freely assigned (optional)
   Location:	can be freely assigned (optional)
   Use:	Select the appropriate driver under "Select Software...".

7. The shared name and model name can be found under Printers and copiers in the shared name column

Double-sided printing

1. Open the print dialog (command + p)
2. Show Details
   
3. Drop-down field (name of the current application) -> Finishing
   
4. Print style -> Select from "1-sided Printing", "2-sided Printing", "Booklet Printing"

B/W or color printing

1. Open print dialog (command + p)
2. Show Details
   
3. Drop-down field (name of the current application) -> Quality
   
4. Color Mode -> Color or "Black and White"
