Would you like to make more of your studies? Would you like to attend not just lectures, not just seminars? Then let us enthuse you about other topics: How about working as a trainee or student assistant who cooperates with scientists or representatives of the industry in addition to taking courses? We would like to pique your interest in advancing with us. Let us introduce you to Advance.
Advance! is a Students Development Program that has been initiated and is conducted by a group led by Professor Studer at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB). Advance! cooperates with the Information Process Engineering Department (IPE) at Forschungszentrum Informatik, with the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute, and with Ontoprise GmbH. Our program is supported by the SAP Research Center Karlsruhe and by IBM Deutschland GmbH. We address ourselves to excellent students who have attracted our attention during courses or through outstanding commitment.
Our main focus is on semantic technologies:
- Company knowledge management
- Web applications, web search, web 2.0
- Knowledge representation, description logics, and ontologies
- Web services
The Advance! Program offers exclusive contacts, jobs, student research projects, and social events. Each semester, selected students are invited to take part.
We are looking forward to your participation!
