Background:

A vast amount of cloud service certifications exist on the market. For example, we are currently developing a cloud service certification to prove compliance with the new EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) named “AUDITOR”. However, cloud service providers question the value of such certification, particularly as they face high certification costs and expenditures. We need to motivate cloud providers by highlighting the TRUE value of certifications!

Objective(s):

The objective of this thesis is to discuss the value and effectiveness of certifications with customers of cloud services. You might do some literature work, interview customers and friends, do a survey, whatever you like.
