|Beschreibung DE=Cloud computing is one of the most important trends which is currently being deployed by the ICT industry and contains a wide range of opportunities for realization of innovative business models. Among other things, the demand-oriented provision of computing power, storage and, software is enabled via the Internet. This provision is also possible via different terminals, thereby location-independent and flexible access to information can be ensured. The capabilities by the use of cloud computing services are enormous. However, there are also challenges arising in this context to be addressed in an appropriate manner.<br><br>The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie, BMWi) supports the development and testing of innovative, secure, and legally compliant cloud services by establishing the “Trusted Cloud” program with a total of about 50 m. Euro. In addition, own funds of project participants are at approximately the same height, so that totally about 100 m. euro are available for the program.  The BMWi technology program “Trusted Cloud” is part of the action program “cloud computing” which was launched by the BMWi together with its partners from industry and science in October 2010.<br><br>On behalf of all the partners of the project Value4Cloud, Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar has received a research grant recommendation as part of the technology program “Trusted Cloud” on the Cebit in Hanover on the 1st of March 2011.<br><br>The objective of the funded project Value4Cloud is research and development of the market-supporting value-added services to support trust, legal compliance, quality, and the use of cloud services. The integration of these value-added services in already existing market places and information portals (e.g., BITKOM cloud-practice.de) addresses both providers and users at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Germany. This is for instance achieved by structuring provided information, classification of cloud services, services for quality evaluation of cloud services, services for benchmarking cloud services, and trust supporting measures.<br><br>Suppliers are supported by design proposals for developing legally compliant cloud services and open-service innovation. In addition to the implementation and pilot tests of value-added services, business, service, and operator models are developed.<br><br>Academic partners in the Value4Cloud project are Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar (Fortiss, An-Institut der TU München), Prof. Dr. Alexander Rossnagel (Universität Kassel), Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister (Universität Kassel), and Prof. Dr. Ali Sunyaev.<br><br>Furthermore, the development and wideranging utilisation of the results are being acquired by the project partners gate (Garchinger Technologie- und Gründerzentrum GmbH), SpaceNet AG and further ten additional transfer partners in the project consortium.<br><br>In addition, the project has the objective to transport the developed concepts, methods, models, and tools for supporting trust, legal compliance, quality and the use of cloud services at mid-sized German companies, with a broad impact in practice, by participating in annual conventions and workshops.<br><br>Moreover, the results are incorporated in information portals that are operated by project partners, certification products, and cloud services for SMEs.

Es gilt allerdings auch den Herausforderungen, die sich in diesem Kontext stellen, auf adäquate Weise entgegen zu treten, diese zu erforschen und Lösungsszenarien zu erarbeiten.<br><br>Das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) fördert durch "Trusted Cloud" die Entwicklung und Erprobung von innovativen, sicheren und rechtskonformen Cloud Computing-Diensten mit insgesamt rund 50 Mio. Euro. Hinzu kommen Eigenmittel der Projektbeteiligten in etwa gleicher Höhe, so dass insgesamt rund 100 Mio. Euro zur Verfügung stehen. Das BMWi-Technologieprogramm "Trusted Cloud" ist Teil des Aktionsprogramms Cloud Computing, das das BMWi im Oktober 2010 gemeinsam mit Partnern aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft gestartet hat.<br><br>Stellvertretend für alle Partner des Projektes Value4Cloud hat Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar am 01.03.2011 auf der Cebit in Hannover die Förderempfehlung im Rahmen des Technologieprogramms „Trusted Cloud“ entgegen nehmen dürfen.<br><br>Ziel des geförderten Projektes Value4Cloud ist die Erforschung und Entwicklung marktunter-stützender Mehrwertdienste zur Förderung von Vertrauen, Rechtsverträglichkeit, Qualität und Nutzung von Cloud Services. Die Einbindung dieser Mehrwertdienste in bereits bestehende Marktplätze und Informationsportale (wie BITKOM cloud-practice.de) adressiert Anwender wie Anbieter aus dem deutschen Mittelstand. Dies erfolgt bspw. durch die Strukturierung der bereitgestellten Informationen, die Kategorisierung von Cloud Services, durch Dienste zur Qualitätsbewertung von Cloud Services, Dienste zum Benchmarking von Cloud Services und zur Vertrauensunterstützung. Anbieter werden bspw. durch Gestaltungsvorschläge für die Entwicklung rechtsverträglicher Cloud Service Angebote sowie Open-Service-Innovation unterstützt. Beschreibung

Cloud Computing ist einer der wichtigsten Trends, die die IKT-Branche derzeit beschäftigen, und birgt auch für KMUs eine Vielzahl an neuen Möglichkeiten zur Umsetzung innovativer Geschäftsmodelle. Unter anderem wird die bedarfsorientierte Bereitstellung von Rechenleistung, Speicherkapazitäten und Software über das Internet ermöglicht. Dies ist zudem über unterschiedliche Endgeräte möglich, wodurch ortsunabhängiger und flexibler Zugriff auf Informationen gewährleistet werden kann. Die Möglichkeiten durch Cloud Computing-Dienste sind gewaltig. Es gilt allerdings auch den Herausforderungen, die sich in diesem Kontext stellen, auf adäquate Weise entgegen zu treten, diese zu erforschen und Lösungsszenarien zu erarbeiten.

Das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) fördert durch "Trusted Cloud" die Entwicklung und Erprobung von innovativen, sicheren und rechtskonformen Cloud Computing-Diensten mit insgesamt rund 50 Mio.
