Audi Autonomous Driving Cup 2018: Team AlpaKa holt den Titel
Im Finale des Audi Autonomous Driving Cup 2018 setzte sich das FZI-Team AlpaKa gegen sieben weitere Hochschulteams durch und verwies die Konkurrenz auf die Plätze. Damit geht das Preisgeld in Höhe von 10.000 Euro nach Karlsruhe.
Das dreitägige Finalevent des Audi Autonomous Driving Cup 2018 beinhaltete die Bewältigung von vorgegebenen, teils unbekannten Fahraufgaben auf einem Straßenparcours. Die hierfür genutzten Lösungsansätze wurden in einem akademischen Vortrag präsentiert und mit in die Bewertung eingeschlossen. Des Weiteren gab es eine "Open Challenge", in der die Teams innovative und kreative Ansätze zu den Themen Car2X, Künstlicher Intelligenz und Closed Loop im Autonomen Fahren vorstellten.
