Prof. Sunyaev at the German-Russian Science Forum on Artificial Intelligence in Moscow
On June 27, Prof. Sunyaev was invited as an expert to the German-Russian Science Forum in Moscow on the state of the art of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research. Among other things, he discussed the question of whether AI will become human in the near future. The event took place within context of the German-Russian Year of University Cooperation and Science 2018-2020. The Science Forum was organised jointly by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Moscow, the German House of Science and Innovation (DWIH) in Moscow and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). The event was attended by nearly 230 people. In addition to representatives of renowned universities and research institutions, two start-ups were invited to present their AI-based business models.
