Nelly Schuster studied Media Computer Science at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) and at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 2002 to 2007. During her studies she worked at several companies and research institutes as a student apprentice and student trainee, like e.g. at DaimlerChrysler, SAP and at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) in Stuttgart. She wrote her diploma-thesis "ADkwik - a Collaborative System for Architectural Decision Modeling and Decision Process Support based on Web 2.0 Technologies" at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, where she continued her scientific work after the end of her studies until September 2008.

Since October 2008, Nelly Schuster is working as a research scientist at FZI and KIT in Prof. Stefan Tai's research group. Her research interests are in collaborative software engineering, service-oriented application systems in general and especially in the lightweight composition of software service via so-called service mashups.
