Beschreibung

Im MoSaiC-Projekt wird ein Service-orientierter Ansatz zum Umgang mit neuartigen elektronischen Dokumenten untersucht. Ein Dokument wird als Komposition verschiedener Bestandteile verstanden. Jedes Bestandteil wird als Dienst modelliert, wobei ein Dienst vollständig elektronisch oder auch durch Beteiligung von Menschen realisiert werden kann. Das Dokument selbst wird somit zu einer Dienste-orientierten Architektur, welches die flexible Komposition von Diensten verschiedener Art ermöglicht. Koordinationsregeln unterstützen die Komposition der Dienste und damit auch die Zusammenarbeit der an der Dokumenterstellung beteiligten Akteure. Das neuartige Dokumentenmodell wird durch eine REST-basierte Web-Architektur und Prototyp realisiert.

-|Beschreibung DE=Im MoSaiC-Projekt (Mashups for Situational Collaboration) untersuchen wir einen neuen Service-orientierten Ansatz zum Umgang mit Unternehmensdokumenten. Die Dokumente, die aus verschiedenen Services zusammengesetzt werden, unterstützen ad-hoc Zusammenarbeit und innovative schwach-strukturierte Prozesse in Unternehmen und Unternehmensnetzen. Elektronische Dokumente sollen hierfür mit Software Services und Prozessen auf Basis einer SOA zusammengeführt werden. Hierfür wird eine REST-basierte Web-Architektur und ein Prototyp eines leichtgewichtigen Dokumentenbusses entwickelt, auf dem Dokumententeile mit zustandslosen Software Services identifiziert werden. Zur Koordination des Erzeugens, Editierens und Veröffentlichens der Dokumenteninhalte wird ein einfaches Kompositionsmodell eingeführt. Das REST-basierte Dokumenten-Dienste-Modell stellt einen Ausgangspunkt dar für interessante Untersuchungen über intuitive Mashup-Sprachen für die Dokumenten-zentrierte situative Kollaboration. Kollaborative Mashups werden flexible dynamische Interaktionsmuster bei der Dokumenten-basierten Kommunikation steuern und erzwingen, sowohl für konventionelle als auch für virtuelle Teams.

 |Beschreibung EN=In the MoSaiC project (Mashups for Situational Collaboration), we propose to investigate on a novel service-oriented approach for composite enterprise documents supporting ad-hoc collaboration and weakly structured innovative processes within and across enterprises. As technical foundation, we seek to integrate electronic documents with software services and processes underlying SOA. We plan to develop a RESTful Web architecture and prototype platform of a lightweight document service bus that shall represent document fragments as stateless software services and introduce a simple composition model to coordinate document content, editing and publishing services. Our REST-based document service model will allow us to conduct exciting research on an intuitive mashup language for document-centered situational collaboration. Collaborative mashups will regulate and enforce flexible and dynamic interaction patterns for document communication supporting conventional and virtual teams.
