What's it about? With CloudCampus we develop a software product, that addresses especially you and your fellower students. With a calendar function you can synchronize your visited lectures with that of your fellower students. To arrange yourself you can sychronize your appointments and make new learning appointments out. To let the application scale, even in a large customer scenario, we try different cloud service providers as Amazon Web Services and Google App Engine and keep an eye on multi-tenancy-architectures.
What is multi-tenancy? Cloud-services offer economic advantages. One of the key benefits is the resource pooling. Physical resources like the CPU, the RAM or the storage devices are pooled and logically abstracted. The logical resources are used more efficiently, since single physical devices can be assigned to multiple customers.
